As We Flush the Toilet on the Bush Cheney Legacy…

Y Yoga Movie Production Still of Earth from Apollo

As we flush the Toilet from the last 8 Years of the Bush Administration please consider the following thought from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“Cowardice asks the question, Is it safe? Expediency asks the question, Is it politic? Vanity asks the question, Is it popular? But conscience asks the question, Is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because his conscience tells him that it is right.”

Love, Life & Peace as we toast a new day dawning!!!

  1. No, your not alone. I for one believe that the credit card companies and the banks have too much power over our money. Because we are not part of the elite we get stuck paying high interest rates and fees. We need to boycott the banks and make sure they don’t make any money off us ant they will change their attitudes. We also need to write to our senators and congressmen and tell them we are tired of this. But try and get people on the band wagon.

    • Thank u for your solidarity… it feels so wonderful to know i am not alone in my disgust of what i am observing!

In the words of Thomas Jefferson

“I sincerely believe… that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”

–Thomas Jefferson to John Taylor, 1816. ME 15:23

“[The] Bank of the United States… is one of the most deadly hostility existing, against the principles and form of our Constitution… An institution like this, penetrating by its branches every part of the Union, acting by command and in phalanx, may, in a critical moment, upset the government. I deem no government safe which is under the vassalage of any self-constituted authorities, or any other authority than that of the nation, or its regular functionaries. What an obstruction could not this bank of the United States, with all its branch banks, be in time of war! It might dictate to us the peace we should accept, or withdraw its aids. Ought we then to give further growth to an institution so powerful, so hostile?”

–Thomas Jefferson to Albert Gallatin, 1803. ME 10:437
